Simple, basic boule (meaning round) bread. Good with organic grass-fed butter like Kerrygold and eaten with your evening meal, and makes a pretty fine sandwich the next day or two. With no oil in it, this bread stales more quickly, so after about 24 hours you’ll want to use this to make french toast, bread crumbs, croutons, or bread pudding. It’s not the softest bread I make, and has a slightly chewy texture.

The design on the top of the bread will vary. My wife likes to draw pictures on them, but most of the time it’s a cross on the top.

Ingredients: Organic bread flour, reverse osmosis filtered water, Himalayan pink sea salt, and barley malt.
